HOUSING RENTAL MANAGEMENT

Sestao has at present 216 social rental homes. More than half -205 to be precise- make up the municipal housing stock, which is mainly used for rehousing situations. The average rent is 120,83 Euros.

In addition to these municipal homes, there are some others which belong to private individuals who have let them to various rental programmes of the Basque Government (Bizigune programme and ASAP programme) for the people registered in the official register of Etxebide housing applicants.

Sestao Berri deals with the management and control of compliance with rental agreements as well as management and guidance to residents’ associations. It supervises the correct use and maintenance of homes and common spaces as well as an adequate coexistence.
