NeZer is a European project aimed at promoting the smart application and integration of “nearly zero energy” measures and renewable sources of energy in the European market of building renovation.

The project cooperates with all the parts which make up the construction supply chain in order to raise awareness about the advantages of nearly zero energy building renovation. Sestao participates together with other seven locations in four countries: Helsinki, Espoo and Porvoo (Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), Rotterdam and Amersfoort (The Netherlands), and Timisoara (Rumania).

The aforementioned pilot locations will be the testing grounds to study the technical solutions used in the cases of successful building renovation based on energy efficiency and the implementation of renewable energies.
